La Maison Hauntée: http://www.maisonhantee.qc.ca
  • The Haunted House is a legendary institution in Montreal, a mysterious adventure that presents a dinner show, which is out of the ordinary, on the border of fantastic.

This 18th century Victorian house has accommodated the Hudson Bay's fur trading post, retail trades and several Montreal families. It was then left to its many ghosts.

Friday November 13th 1987, 1037 de Bleury St. (current address) opened its massive door once again. This residence now has a name that tells you good deal about its vocation: The Haunted House.

The Grand Masquerade: http://www.grandemascarade.com/
  • Prepare to be scared in the City of Festivals as Montreal presents the second edition of this phantasmagorical four-night celebration of Halloween on October 27-28-29-30, 2005. This thoroughly ghoulish Festival is a unique spectacle that has brought in an estimated 75,000 morbidly inclined individuals to the many bizarre happenings scheduled for its first edition last fall.

These creepy festivities are taking place on a free outdoor site in Old-Montreal where old ghosts walk among us through the cobble-stone street maze of the old city. We dare you to visit after twilight this terrifying and haunting animated site set up in the center square of Old Montreal, where most activities are free of charge, while others cost only a pittance.

Continuous on-site animation with performers from such backgrounds as circus arts, dance, theatre , pyrotechnics and many more fill up the darkness in a very theatrical ambiance that will send shivers down your spine.

BEWARE: this event is not targeted towards children. We recommend parental guidance.

    It's a Halloween Hootenanny!
